St. Bonifacius Fire Department

The Fire Department currently operates out of a station located on County Road 92 in St. Bonifacius and is comprised of 27 volunteers.  The fire department provides fire and other emergency protection services within St. Bonifacius, and through service contracts, also serves the surrounding communities of Minnetrista, Laketown Township and Watertown Township. Some examples of the types of emergency calls that the Fire Department responds to are: fires, rescues, traffic accidents and emergency medical calls.

On-call firefighters, firefighter/EMTs are not full-time employees of the city. They are individuals who work a regular full-time job elsewhere and respond to emergencies when they are home. On-call employees are paid when they respond to fire, medical and emergency calls, and when they attend training and other required activities.
