Property Tax Information

Your property tax is determined by three factors:

  1. the amount of money spent by local taxing jurisdictions,
  2. the taxable market value of the property and
  3. the property class

The time to challenge your property class or market value is at the Local Board of Review and County Board of Equalization; this meeting is held in the spring.

Questions can be directed to Kevin Wynn, Hennepin County Assessor, 612-348-3046.
