Property Tax Information
Your property tax is determined by three factors:
- the amount of money spent by local taxing jurisdictions,
- the taxable market value of the property and
- the property class
The time to challenge your property class or market value is at the Local Board of Review and County Board of Equalization; this meeting is held in the spring.
Questions can be directed to Ryan Bauman, Hennepin County Assessor, 612-348-3046.
