NOTICE OF OPENING FOR

FILING AFFIDAVITS OF

CANDIDACY FOR CITY ELECTION,

PUBLIC TESTING OF VOTING EQUIPMENT,

AND STATE PRIMARY ELECTION NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer of St. Bonifacius will accept filings of Affidavit of Candidacy at the City Office, 8535 Kennedy Memorial Drive, St. Bonifacius, Minnesota for the following elective officers for the City Council of St. Bonifacius, Hennepin County, Minnesota:

      Mayor for a two (2) year term commencing January 4, 2021

      Two (2) Council members, each for a four (4) year term commencing January 4, 2021

      Special Election:  One (1) Council member for a two (2) year term commencing January 4, 2021

      The first day of filing candidacy is Tuesday, July 28, 2020

      The last day of filing such affidavit is Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

      Voting equipment to be used at the Primary Election will be tested on August 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.  Public is invited to attend.

      The State Primary Election will be held on August 11, 2020.  Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for voting.
