Sanitation/Recycling Contract renewal

2025 SOLID WASTE & RECYCLING CONTRACT

The city has renewed the contract with Republic Services located in Delano and formerly known as Randy’s Sanitation for 2025-2029. The city received sealed quotes from five sanitation companies. Republic Services was the lowest cost to tax payers.

The rates increased by 20% from the former 2024 contract.  For years 2026 thru 2029 the rates will increase by 5% on January 1 of each year. Customers will receive bags for organic recycling by calling Republic at 763-972-3335. The fee for organic recycling is included in the recycling fee. All customers are required to be charged for organic recycling as regulated by Hennepin County. 

Republic Services will continue to offer Active Military and Seniors a 10% discount. Please call 763-972-3335 to receive discount.
