Building Inspections, Permits and Fees

The city of St. Bonifacius has Building Permit Forms available below or you can pick them up at the city office.

• For basic maintenance, such as mechanical, plumbing, re-roofs, re-siding, and windows, permits are required.  These permits can be issued at the city office immediately upon payment.

• For items beyond maintenance: demolition, additions, garages, decks/porches, fences and new construction–both residential and commercial, please allow 7 to 10 days to process.  2 sets of plans should be submitted with the building permit form.  City Staff will call you when permit is ready for pickup.  
• Permits are payable at the time they are picked up by the applicant and are good for 6 months.
